It happened again. I totally forgot my stash of keys inside the apartment. Now here I am, stuck outside in the bright sunlight. I've tried every possibility to get back in. Maybe if I ram the door open? Nah, that would be nuts. Guess I'll just have to wait. This is the worst.

Ugh, Trapped! Keys Inside, Car Outside

Well, this absolutely stinks. I just got back from a long morning/afternoon/day, and now I'm stuck outside my car. My my set of keys are safely inside where they {always seem to be|. As if that wasn't bad enough, it's a gorgeous/lovely/pleasant day/evening/afternoon and my I have no service.

Trapped by My Own Lock: A Locked Car Nightmare

It was a scorching/freezing/humid day and I had been/was/am running around town/errands/my daily tasks when it happened. The worst kind of awful, the most terrible/frustrating/irksome feeling crept over me as I tried to/pushed at/pulled on the car door/handle. It was locked/shut/sealed tight. My heart sank like a stone/lead weight/anchor in my chest. I had been completely careless/incredibly stupid/utterly thoughtless and left my keys inside/forgotten about them/misplaced them. Now, I was trapped/stranded/confined in this metal box/prison of steel/mobile cage, the setting sun casting long shadows/stripes/beams on my panicked/flustered/desperate face.

Oops, Uh oh, Crap! I Did It Again: Locked My Keys in the Car

It happened again! Just this morning/This afternoon/This evening while running errands/going to work/getting groceries, I completely spaced out/wasn't paying attention/totally blanked. My brain just decided to take a vacation/My mind went on autopilot/I was daydreaming and now I'm stuck/stranded/trapped with my keys locked safely inside the car. Of course, this is happening on a sunny/rainy/windy day when it feels like forever/takes ages/seems impossible to get someone to help.

I've already tried everything: looking for an open window/trying to pick the lock/checking under the seats. Nothing's working! Now I'm just standing here/My patience is wearing thin/I'm about to lose it.

I guess I'll have to call a tow truck/locksmith/roadside assistance and hope they arrive soon. This really stinks/is so frustrating/is my worst nightmare. Next time, I'll remember to double-check before I walk away./Maybe I'll invest in a spare key/I need to get better at paying attention!.
